Wednesday Nights for Children

Childcare is available for infants through 2 years old on Wednesday nights from 6:00 pm-7:30 pm.  Childcare is located in the Infant and Toddler nurseries.

 

Preschool (3k-5k): 
Children must be 3 years of age by September 1, 2011 and POTTY TRAINED to participate in this class.
This spring these children will participate in Godly Play lessons and creative response. We will meet in Room 207 and move to the Godly Play room for our lessons. Creative response time will be back in  Room 207.

January 25 – Parable of the Mustard Seed
February 1 – Parable of the Great Pearl
February 8 – St. Valentine
February 15 – Lenten Lessons 1, 2 & 3
February 29 – Lenten Lessons 4 & 5
March 7 – Lenten Lesson 6 & 7
March 14 - St. Patrick

Children will meet their parents in Randolph Memorial Hall at 7:15 pm.

Grades 1st—3rd:
Wednesdays after Epiphany: 

We will follow the scripture recommendations for the “God and Me” program for scouting.  Any children in scouts who wish to receive scout credit for the “God and Me” merit badge will be able to do it through these Wednesday nights lessons and a little work at home with their families.  Other children are welcome to participate.

January 25 – Jesus as God’s Gift – Luke 2:1-20
February 1 – Jesus Prays – Matthew 6:6, 9-14

February 15 – The Great Commandment – Matthew 22:37-40

Lenten Wednesdays: 

We will begin with scripture meditations and prayer and then respond to the scripture through art projects or cooking activities.

March 7 – Images of God – The Son
March 14 - Images of God – The Holy Spirit
