Our recent strategic planning process, which led to the development of our now-familiar vision statements, has begun to revitalize our Parish in so many exciting ways. Included as one of our vision statements is "St. Mary's will identify improvements to its facilities that will fully support its programs, ministries, and community relationships." Over the last two years the Vestry has worked closely with the clergy and staff to do just this. To that end, the vestry has prayerfully decided that the next step for St. Mary's is to begin a master planning process.
PARTNERING WITH KPS GROUP
After several months and many meetings, we have hired the architectural and planning firm KPS Group to help us begin that process. As in our strategic planning, we fully intend to involve the Parish completely as we explore future options for our facilities. The Vestry has planned several gatherings (view schedule here) to solicit your input, your hopes, and your dreams for St. Mary's. Parishioners who came before us followed a similar plan when they created the current worship space and Drennen House; now it is our turn to do the same for those who will come after us. Your commitment to the planning process and what will follow will be critical as we continue to grow.
QUESTIONS AND PRAYER
Any member of the Vestry will be happy to answer any questions you may have. This is a very exciting time for St. Mary's; please join the Vestry in praying that the Holy Spirit will lead us in the right direction to help spread the Kingdom of God.
